Thank you for dropping by, super-star 1st/2nd parents! The sunshine has been so refreshing and our field-trip was a blast! There are lots of things to remember as we close up this year! Here are a few of them:

Monday, May 29th: Memorial Day NO SCHOOL.

Tuesday, June 6th: Dad's Breakfast with Books: 8:15-9:00 am; Field-Day, Lunch with Dads and Grandpas: 9:30-noon at Klineline.(We will start walking down at 9:30). Please turn in field-trip permission slips as soon as you can! (:

Thursday, June 8th: Summer Birthday Celebration: 1:00 pm. This is the day we celebrate our summer birthday kiddos! Please let me know if you'd like to send a treat (if you have a child with a summer birthday) and what you will be sending. Thank you!
2:30 pm: Yearly awards celebration at 2:30 pm in our classroom (parents welcome). 

Friday, June 9th: Last Day of School/School Program: HALF DAY (noon dismissal)
10:00: Kindergarten Graduation (we will be attending and watching this as a class),
SCHOOL PROGRAM to follow. Talent show will follow the program! (:

In math, first-grade will continue reviewing concepts learned this year and work on story problems. Second-grade will finish up geometry concepts and continue working on measurement. We will be completing some tests in math over the next few weeks. In Bible, we will learn about Paul and Silas sharing their faith. Our verse will be:
