Greetings, Fabulous 1st/2nd Parents!!! Whoa! Am I really posting this blog about the last week of school?  Is it seriously June?!? How did that happen? Thank you so much for stopping by!

June 4th-11th: Book Fair!!!

Tuesday, June 6th: Dad's Breakfast with Books: 8:30-9:00 am; Field-Day, Lunch with Dads and Grandpas: 9:30-noon at Klineline.(We will start walking down at 9:30). Please turn in field-trip permission slips as soon as you can! (: ***

Thursday, June 8th: Summer Birthday Celebration: 1:00 pm. This is the day we celebrate our summer birthday kiddos! Please let me know if you'd like to send a treat (if you have a child with a summer birthday) and what you will be sending. Thank you!
2:30 pm: Yearly awards celebration at 2:30 pm in our classroom (parents welcome). 

Friday, June 9th: Last Day of School/School Program: HALF DAY (noon dismissal)
10:00: K-2nd Ocean Musical
10:30: Kinder graduation
11:00: Talent Show
Noon: Early Dismissal

Next week we will not have usual reading groups as both groups have finished their books! However, we will continue working hard on Daily 5 activities and supplemental stories. We may be finishing up a test or two as well! In math, first grade will keep reviewing big concepts of the year. Second-grade will work on measurement. We will continue to study ocean animals in science. We will finish up our memory books as well. In Bible, we will be doing review lessons that highlight lessons from the year.
